Hannover Messe is one of the world’s leading trade fairs for industrial technology that focuses on digitalization and sustainability. Hannover Messe has been held every year for the past 75 years. Each year, one country is chosen to be the partner country, such as India (2015), USA (2016), Poland (2017), Mexico (2018), Swedia (2019), Indonesia (2021), and Portugal (2022). This fair is reported by thousands of journalists from all around the world.

Hannover Messe 2023, held from April 17th to 21st, brought feelings of optimism for 40,000 exhibitors who aimed to integrate sustainable industry. For this year’s Hannover Messe, Indonesia was named the official partner country, becoming the first ASEAN country to do so. The president stated that Indonesia was honored to be the official partner country for the Hannover Messe 2023. Several strategies, such as press conferences and promotional campaigns in various social media, offline, and online media, have been conducted on a massive scale to promote Indonesia’s participation in the Hannover Messe 2023 to the public.

Indonesia has brought 157 co-exhibitors from the private sector, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), industrial parks, and special economic zones to encourage the implementation of “Making Indonesia 4.0”. The Indonesian pavilion has been divided into several exhibition zones: Zone A for companies active in sustainability and energy sectors, Zone B for the “Making Indonesia 4.0” exhibition and engineered parts and solutions, Zone C for state-owned enterprises, Zone D for investment/industrial parks and human capital, and the last zone is for Hannover Messe Display Categories.

AIH takes part as one of the co-exhibitors in Hannover Messe 2023. As part of Hannover Messe 2023, AIH also contributes to carrying out Indonesia’s 2 big strategies, namely downstream industry and green economy to accelerate industrial transformation.
